Bobcat Marching Band Itinerary 9/11/09
BGHS vs. Napoleon 9/11/09
4:45 PM “Call Time” Time to be in the Instrumental Room, preparing equipment, buying reeds, getting shirts/shoes/uniform details accomplished.
5:00 PM Packing equipment/buying gloves, etc @ store/Change into uniforms/Use “facilities”
5:20 PM Load Busses/Depart/ “Bus Captains” take attendance. Always ride the SAME bus!
6:30 PM Arrive @ Napoleon HS –unload/wear uniform. Get plumes from chaperones.
Rehearse w/ our hosts, the Napoleon Wildcats & Mr. Lesick
7:10 PM “Conquest” in the driveway – prepare to march to the field (not shuffle to the field!)
Watch their Pre-Game if time allows
7:30 PM Kick-Off Go Bobcats!!
8:30 PM (approx.) Half-time – WE start.
Show Order: Mamma Mia, Who Are You, THEN we EXIT to the AWAY SIDE
Napoleon - 2 tunes
We RE-ENTER from the away side
God Bless the USA (with Napoleon)
After the show – back into the stands, put instruments down CAREFULLY - eat & relax.
Be back into your seats by the END of the quarter – ready to play a tune on our signal.
Note: ONE freshman lady caught our eye – she didn’t make it back for the whistles! Here’s your “warning” – everyone back by 4th quarter!
9:30 PM (approx.) Game over – Load Busses – Go home
10:30-11:00 PM Unload – secure uniforms, equipment, etc.
