Uniform Information

Uniforms
The uniforms are cleaned every summerprior to the marching season and as needed during the course of the year.  The Uniforms Committee is responsible for this activity.  To assist in maintaining our $200,000+ investment in uniforms and parts (including formal wear and red blazers for the concert band season), we ask each "family unit" for a donation to clean and maintain uniform inventory.  Annual maintenance fee:  $50 per family per year.
For new member (Freshman and those new to BGHS), the fee also includes your first pair of white gloves and your first red band shirt.  If lost, they must be replaced at your additional expense ($5 for gloves, $20 for red shirt).

Fitting
Marching Band uniforms are fitted during band camp.  Times are posted for appointments.  If you have not been fitted yet, please contact Mrs. Smith to make arrangements for getting a uniform.
Fittings for Concert season attire will be handled later this fall.

Band Shoes
Available from Rettig Music (www.rettigmusic.com/store/page576.html).  We have some brand new shoes that were "ordering errors" that are available for $20.00.  Also, there are a number of left-over, left-behind, or unsold shoes available on a "first-com, first-served" basis.
