NW OMEA Regional Orchestra @ Whitmer HS

Application due to Mrs. Smith Friday, September 17

Forms have been available in the Music Room since Band Camp

Live Auditions at Whitmer HS on Sunday, September 26

Fees will be reimbursed to students and parents by the Band Boosters.

Rehearsal 9 am -5 pm Saturday, December 4

Dress rehearsal 1:00 & Concert 3:00 pm Sunday, Dec. 5

Capital University New Music Reading Clinic

Application due to Mrs. Smith, Friday, September 24

Forms arrived to us Monday, September 13

NO audition necessary – fees will be covered by Band Boosters. 

If accepted, you’ll need to arrive at Capital  (in Columbus) 8:00 am  Friday, November 19 – Sat. November 20, 1:30 PM.  You will be excused from the BG  Holiday Parade.  (Overnight stay/ meals on your own required.)

University of Akron Ohio Band Directors’ Conference Honor Band

Recorded audition and written application due to Mrs. Smith by Friday, October 15.  Acceptance letters mailed after November 8. Fees will be covered by Band Boosters. 

Must be available on campus  (Akron) on Friday morning, December 3 at 9:00 am – Sat. Dec. 4 4:00 PM. (overnight stay/ meals on your own required)

The Ohio State University High School Honor Band

Application and recorded audition due to Mrs. Smith, Thursday, November 4.  Fees will be covered by Band Boosters. 

You must be available Friday, January 14 3:00-pm – Sunday, January 16, late afternoon.

Overnight stays/ meals on your own required.
