Bobcat Marching Band Itinerary 9/8/2010
BGHS Vs. Napoleon (home)
Before 5:00 PM – Band “Picnic”
5:00 pm: Change into FULL UNIFORMS, including hats, NO plumes, yet. Ladies- dress in the choir room; Gentlemen – the locker room. See Uniform moms for assistance. WHITE GLOVES!!
5:30 pm: Block Band on the parking lot for rehearsal.Get used to marching in your hat!
6:00 pm: Napoleon Band Arrives. Combined rehearsal.
6:15 pm: Rehearsal ends. Quick restroom. Water break.
6:30 pm: Conquest on the drive – March to stadium.
6:40 pm: PRE-GAME!! Seniors Athletics are honored.
7:00 PM: Kick-Off Go Bobcats!!
8:00 pm (approx.): Half-Time Napoleon goes first. Then we open w/Salute, America, Stars & Stripes
After the show – back into the stands, put instruments down CAREFULLY - eat & relax. Be back into your seats by the END of the quarter – ready to play a tune on our signal. If you are able, please “mingle” with the Napoleon guests!
9:30 pm (approx.): Game over – we play a brief “Post-Game” 2-3 tunes for the crowd
10:00 pm: Have a good week-end!
BAND NOTES!
- This is the week for WHITE SHORTS, LONG SOCKS & FULL UNIFORMS!!!
- You will receive a “stand tune” list this week. Be sure to have these tunes in your flip folder! We suggest put them after your ½ time songs.
- Take $$ for 3rd quarter “free” time.
- If you become ill at the last minute: 419-354-0100,ext. 1151 to be excused. Unexcused absences are a weekly “F” or worse!
