- Thanks to all for a very smooth first game night! This week's itinerary is very similar, althought the kick-off time is later. The itinerary is available online, as well as on paper in the HS Instrumental Room.
- Today, after class, we had our first episode (this year) of a missing item from a student’s backpack. Although the student has a band locker, with a functioning lock, he/she chose not to put the personal items under lock. We are very sorry this happened; since we are outside for rehearsal almost everyday, we cannot stress often enough to all students to use prudence with their phones, wallets, purses, etc.
- THURSDAY, September 9, we need to have a “special” practice to accommodate our Patriot Day Show. We will meet at the stadium at 6:30 PM and be finished by 8:00 pm. Many thanks to all! We spoke about this at length during class today; please check with your student if he/she has a special circumstance.
- Hopefully, your family has paid the uniform maintenance fee by now. If not, the fee is $60.00 per family, as the August 31 deadline has passed.
- The BGSU Band Day Itinerary and details arrived to me late Tuesday; they will be online tomorrow (Thursday).
- We very much appreciate our families who are buying/selling coupon books! They contain great deals, with many local merchants, and are a great assistance to our band program! Please do you part – yes! – we purchase our books, here in the band office!
