First Band Performance! Next Tuesday, August 3, at the Wood County Fair. Itineraries are available at rehearsal, tonight @ 6:00- 8:30 pm and next Monday, same times.

Leadership Day. Officers, Field Commanders, All Seniors & Juniors, selected sophomores. Information is available this week at rehearsals; another copy will arrive by in US Mail. Workshop is next WEDNESDAY, August 4 9am-4 pm, as per the previous band calendars you have received. Lunch provided.

Brass: Thursday, August 5 & Friday, August 6: 10:00 am-noon

Woodwinds: Thursday, August 5, and Friday, August 6, 1:00-3:00pm

Percussion: as per Mr. Corrigan’s instructions.

BGHS iCal: As of today, the BGHS Band Calendar site is up-to-date. We appreciate the efforts of Mrs. Bauman, school secretary, who is working today to have the HS calendar match the Band pages.

Band Camp Schedule: August 9-12, 1:00-4:00pm & 6:30-9:00 pm. BGHS athletic team members should remember to submit yellow forms if/when scrimmages or games will cause you to be absent from our rehearsals. One copy was mailed to you last week; more are available in the Instrumental Room.

Parent meetings: Information meetings for all classes will be held during the evening rehearsals of band camp. Ironically, the date of your child’s meeting mostly will correspond to their grade in school: August 9 – 9^th graders; August 10 – 10^th graders; August 11- 11^th & 12^th graders. Looking forward to seeing you there!

Forms & Fees: Please make every effort to return forms & uniform fees on time. The forms, especially the health forms, need to be here at the start of Band Camp. As you read in your mailing, the uniform fees will remain at $50.00/family/year, until August 31. After that date, the fee will be $60.00/family. You may pay by cash, check payable to BGHS Band Boosters, or for you convenience, by Paypal. Please follow the link on the website for assistance.
