Drum and Bugle Corps Show at BGSU

Many Drum and Bugle Corps throughout the United States have been in existance for over 50 years.
They have grown over the years to include all brass instruments and every imaginable percussion instrument.
They travel throughout the United States competing each year.  These Drum and Bugle Corps are among the most impressive marching bands in the world with exciting shows that include precision marching that often takes a pure athlete to make the maneuvers, incredible brass musicianship that will often send a chill down your back, exciting percussion playing, all combined with an entertaining visual show that you can't possibly see everything happening because it happens so quickly on the field.  Four of the six groups performing are among the best in the world including one that one the world championships a couple years ago!

We are fortunate to have one of these competitions being held right here in BG next Thursday.  If you are interested in going tickets can be purchased for $16 to $45 each at the gate.  However, through Rettig Music, we are able to get tickets for $16 or less per ticket.  If you are interested in getting a ticket through the BG band boosters (students and or adults), hand deliver a check payable to BG band boosters ($16 per ticket) to Mrs. Smith or Mr. Corrigan by Monday, June 21st.

Note:   As I understand it, there will be a parking charge.  Some may wish to buy t-shirts, drum sticks, videos, and various other music related items at the show (each drum corp will have a booth to sell things).
