Itinerary: Memorial Day Parades
Monday, May 31, 2010
8:30 AM Band Room OPEN to get uniforms, music and instruments, etc.
9:15 AM Band Room CLOSES!!
9:30 AM Assemble at the BG POST OFFICE (W. Washington St.)
10:30 AM Approximate STEP-OFF time
Parade route is Main St. to Court St. to Thurstin, through campus to Oak Grove Cemetery.
11:30 AM Finish the OAK GROVE ceremony.
- SENIORS board 1st BG school bus after trumpets play TAPS. Go directly back to BGHS, check in uniforms & instruments, EAT!

- All Others: Take 2nd, 3rd, 4th busses directly to lunch. Your choice: McDonald’s, Burger King, Wendy’s, Pizza Hut. Remember $$.
12:15 PM Approximate departure for Custar parade – we’ll adjust as needed.
12:45 PM Arrive at St. LouisSchool, Custar
1:00 PM Custar parade, through town to MiltonTownship Cemetery
2:00 PM Busses pick up band to return to BGHS
Busses will go directly to BGHS for uniform & instrument check-in.
3:00 PM Band Room CLOSES for the day!!

BAND “NOTES”:
- Find your white shorts and red shirts. We cannot go “coatless” unless 100% of the band is properly attired. Clean up the white shoes, too! SOCKS, not footies, when we wear long trousers! Gloves, also!!!
- You will need some $$ to eat at the restaurant. Please plan accordingly.
- We are the ONLY band – and hometown favorite! Plan to LOOK SHARP and PLAY GREAT!

You MAY pick up uniforms/instruments, etc. on Thursday, May 27 after school OR Friday, May 28 (Teacher Work Day.) Band room will close @ 3:00 PM.
ALL items MUST be returned, stored and accounted for immediately after the parade. NO EXCEPTIONS! - Questions????????????????????? Please ask!
