Our OMEA District Contest performance times arrived yesterday, on the snow day, so our students have not yet seen these; please share within your families. We received our 1st choice, which was for both bands to perform Friday, March 12 to avoid conflicts for our band/choir students.

7:45 PM BGHS Symphonic Band, Mrs. SmithAs soon as we return to the office, we will craft itineraries for each band. Our travel times will vary slightly, due to bus & truck availability. Concert Band students should bear in mind that they will need to depart VERY SOON after the end of the school day, on March 12. Babysitting, paper routes, etc. need to be considered and arranged for now.
This is termed a "District" event - although 50% of the choirs & bands of Ohio compete on the same week-end. (This is analogous to a round of playoffs in football - this event can function as a state qualifier, at the Directors' discretion.)

Jazz Band - we REALLY need a last rehearsal before Tuesday's concert, as we didn't have everyone present last Wednesday morning. Sometime after school or evening on Monday would really benefit us............check your schedules. You may email your preferences to this email or be ready to discuss before 7:50 AM on Monday.
