Dear Parents of the Underclassmen of the Bobcat Band:
As we find ourselves deep into the “winter season” of our band year, we send this message as both an update and as a ”‘thank you” to our students and parents.

It continues to be our pleasure and privilege to teach the young adults of the Bowling Green community. Thanks for allowing us to be a part of the “growing up” of your son or daughter!

We have four major performances in March:
- Tuesday, March 2 at 7:00 PM, our traditional Mid-Winter Concert, in our beautiful new home – the Performing Arts Center!
- Friday, March 12 at OMEA District competition@ Sylvania Southview HS. We are awaiting our performance times.
- Thursday, March 18 – Middle school and High School Jazz Bands, 7:00 PM in the Performing Arts Center.
- Saturday, March 20 the “optional” Solo & Ensemble for 9th graders who were unavailable in January. This event is held at Eastwood HS. (Mr. Landry is coordinating our students for this event.)
We look forward to seeing you at these upcoming events!
- Schedules for the 2010-2011 are due soon. If you have a particular question regarding a schedule concern, please call or email Mrs. Smith as soon as possible. The guidance presentations are intended for general information, but often our music students have individual situations that may require a follow-up conference. Mrs. Smith is readily available for meetings at your request! Telephone and email information is located at the bottom of this letter.
